Gosta Labs is excited to announce that it has extended its pre-seed round to 1.7 million euros in funding from its current investors. This extended funding is accelerating the development of Gosta’s proprietary models with the LUMI supercomputer and strengthens the efforts in Central Europe, where promising results have already been achieved.

“Expanding this pre-seed round reflects our confidence in Gosta Labs’ mission and the possibilities ahead,” says Olli Karhi, Chairman of the Board at Gosta Labs, who is also known as Founder of Cor Group. “We’re thrilled with the progress so far and look forward to strengthening our own model development while expanding our work in Europe.”

The extended funding will indeed help deepen and accelerate the company’s development of local language models and other new capabilities. This work is central to Gosta Labs’ mission of improving healthcare through evidence-based artificial intelligence.

Gosta Labs has also taken its first steps in Central Europe with its AI assistant Gosta Aide already in clinical use in the region. The additional funding will allow the company to further strengthen its international presence, driving innovation and collaboration and bringing its transformative health technology to even more health and social care professionals.

“The milestone not only reflects the confidence in our mission and technology, but also paves the way for our next phase of growth,” summarizes Lauri Sippola, CEO and co-founder of Gosta Labs.
